PROJECT IDENTITY

SUNDAY MORNING MAY 2:   ENVIRONMENTALISM - OUR RELIGION, OUR WORLD- GIVEN BY RABBI SHMUEL ISMACH
Despite the scientific controversy over man-made global warming, there is no question about the effect of overuse of natural resources. Scientists warn that if we do not learn to coexist with our environment, we will eventually destroy it. Thousands of years before fuel economy was a worldwide concern, Judaism taught of the sensitive relationship Man was to have with his surroundings (G-d's creations). Where does Judaism weigh in on these important questions that grip the world and its leaders? This class will answer those questions and offer you a new appreciation for our environment and our responsibilities towards it.  Breakfast  9:30AM,
 Lecture 10:00AM - Cost $5.00
