President

Dear YIGN community,
The executive committee, the board of Directors and our Kahal Kadosh are proud of our new site on the World Wide Web. The Young Israel has made many strides and initiatives in this past year. We  thank Hashem for the fortitude and ability to advance our Kehila and our Great Neck community at large. Our common pursuit to further ourselves is manifested by our commitment to our community and Klal Yisroal and the world we live in. The accomplishments of the shul can be shared by all and they are just a small indication of what our real potential is. Just as with any Kehila, we have our challenges, and we must reflect on our achievements and build on them to further support a foundation for future generations.

The generation of Kiddoshim that survived the Shoa set an example for our community. Through their commitment and self sacrifice they built ours and communities like ours so we can stand with our heads held high and be proud. This site is just another step the YIGN  has taken forward in our ever changing world to make our mark and be connected. I would like to thank Elliot Moscowitz, Steve Santodonato and David Kufeld for boldly stepping forward and taking the initiative to see this project through. I hope that this will be a new portal for our Shul that allows for the dissemination of Yiddishkeit and allows for ease of access to the events and happenings within our new walls.

I wish all much good health in this New Year.

Ed Jutkowitz
